What it does

Customers pay you directly on your own UPI QR code, the same one you already use in GPay, PhonePe, Paytm or your bank app. ApnaBot sends that QR on WhatsApp with simple pay-by-QR instructions. The money comes straight to your account; ApnaBot never touches it.

When to use it

Sharma Travels

For airport drops, Vikram wants ₹500 in advance so customers don't cancel at the last minute. He turns on Advance payment, and every new booking automatically gets his QR with the amount.

Steps

  1. Upload your UPI QR

Go to Settings → Business profile. Under Payment QR code, tap Upload QR and choose a screenshot of your QR (JPEG or PNG). It saves straight away. You can also fill in your UPI ID. It's shown under the QR as a second way to pay.

  2. Send the QR in a chat

In Replies, open the customer's chat and tap ₹ QR. Optionally pick their booking and enter an Amount ₹ (optional), then tap Send QR.

  3. Or: ask for an advance automatically

In Settings, open Advance payment and switch on Require advance payment. Choose Fixed amount (for example ₹500) or Percentage of fare, then tap Save changes. From now on, new bookings get your QR automatically and stay pending until paid.

  4. Mark the booking as paid

When the money shows in your bank or UPI app, open the booking in Bookings and tap Mark as paid.

Example

storefrontGlow Beauty Salon

A customer books a bridal makeup trial. Priya opens the chat, taps ₹ QR, picks the booking and enters ₹1,000. The customer pays from PhonePe. Priya sees the money in her bank app and taps Mark as paid on the booking.

Good to know

  • ApnaBot can't see payments to your QR. Always check your bank or UPI app before you tap Mark as paid.
  • For an advance booking that's still pending, Mark as paid also confirms the booking and tells the customer on WhatsApp.
  • Advance payment can't be switched on until you've uploaded a QR.
  • ₹ QR only shows while the customer's 24-hour free window is open.
  • If you Remove your QR, you can't send it until you upload one again.
  • ApnaBot doesn't charge any fee on these payments. They go straight to you.
